It’s hard to imagine having the delightful symphonies of Haydn without the Esterhazy family, the epic operas of Wagner without Mad King Ludwig, the soaring melodies of Tchaikovsky without Nadezhda von Meck, or Copeland’s beloved Appalachian Spring without Elizabeth Sprague Coolidge. Those people made it possible for great works of art to come into existence.

That kind of artistic partnership continues today as individuals and organizations commission living composers to bring new music into the world.

Commissioning a new piece of music is an exciting collaborative process. I’d love to work with you to create new music! I am open to receiving commissions for all kinds of events, ensembles, and requests.

Buying Scores: I’m happy to make scores available to purchase for interested individuals or ensembles. If you’re a student or an ensemble that can’t afford new music, send me a message in the contact form and I’ll send you whatever you need.
